Our policy on Corona virus (covid-19)
As the outbreak of Corona virus has been confirmed by the UK government, based on the guideline for osteopathic practice, we are asking all patients to consider the following :
If you or a member of your family or close circle of contacts are waiting for test results, are self isolating, or have been in contact with somewhere who has the virus please do not come to the practice for the following 14 days.We ask the same if you or your family have recently returned from outside of the UK.
Public Health England has clear advice which is regularly updated: https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/public-health-england
How to Recognise Symptoms of Covid-19 :
- Dry Cough
- Difficulty in breathing
Although a runny nose and sneezing are not considered symptomatic of Covid-19, we suggest that you change your appointment to 14 days later. All patients are welcome to wear a facial mask.
We always pay the highest attention to hygiene in our practice. It is compulsory for all of our practitioners to wash their hands before and after every patient interaction. Our practice policy is to ensure the highest standards of care for our patients, and all staff will be complying with the guidance and regulations issued by public health England and our own registering body (the General Osteopathic Council).
If you are unsure as to whether you should attend an appointment at our practice, please telephone us to discuss your personal situation.
